Is it actually $0?
Yes! We pay for the battery and installation. Cellera monetizes the asset through grid services, but don't worry, 75% of the capacity is used to maximize your peak demand savings.
How do you get paid / what's the structure?
You keep 100% of your peak demand charge savings. There's an annual SaaS fee for access to CelleraOS, but we guarentee you'll always save more than this.
Can this provide backup power?
Absolutely, but for critical loads only. We can help configure this at set up.
Is this safe to install on-site?
Yes. Our battery systems are housed in outdoor, weatherized, fire-safe enclosures with built-in safety systems. We use certified equipment and follow all applicable codes and standards.
Does Cellera work with our utility?
Yes. We handle interconnection applications, identify applicable demand response programs and incentives, and manage enrollment and verification on your behalf.
